Palmetto Shared Services Alliance membership is free for licensed and registered childcare programs in South Carolina thanks to support from the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Membership connects your program to practical tools, training, resources, cost-saving opportunities, and ongoing support designed for real childcare operations.
Membership is free for eligible South Carolina childcare programs.
PSSA is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting early care and education providers with shared services, professional development, workforce support, and resources that help programs save time, strengthen operations, and serve children and families well.
How to become a member?
Getting started is simple. Complete the referral form, schedule your required orientation, and begin using the tools and support available through your PSSA membership. We allow 1 account per childcare program and it is given to the Director, Owner, or other administrator. You are welcome to share your log-in credentials, but only 1 person may be logged in at a time!

Start by submitting the New Member Referral Form so our team has the information needed to begin your membership process.
Schedule orientation
After submitting the form, you’ll receive an email with instructions to schedule your required New Member Orientation on Zoom.
Access your benefits
During orientation, we’ll walk you through the Resource Platform, professional development options, cost-saving opportunities, and other PSSA supports.
Orientation includes professional development credit.
