Palmetto Shared Services Alliance (PSSA) was born from a community needs assessment completed by Greenville First Steps and the Institute for Child Success that identified a significant need for childcare provider quality improvement. Like successful counterparts in many other states, we aim to strengthen the early care and education (ECE) community. Under the single goal of improving child outcomes, through transforming ECE systems and structures, Palmetto Shared Services Alliance is designed to build the capacity of community business leaders. This improves direct services children receive and equips early care and education environments to sustain high quality.
There are many ways for agencies and businesses to help PSSA support childcare providers in South Carolina. Contact us today to discuss membership sponsorships, grants, funding opportunities, and training plans!
"Greenville First Steps has had a long-standing partnership with Palmetto Shared Services Alliance. We trust PSSA to provide high quality childcare trainings and valuable resources to our childcare community. Our local providers are stronger because of the beneficial work of PSSA."
