At Palmetto Shared Services Alliance (PSSA), we believe that every child deserves access to high-quality early care and education (ECE). That's why we were established in 2016 as a response to a community needs assessment that identified a significant need for childcare provider quality improvement. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to build the capacity of South Carolina's childcare providers and business owners, so they can provide the best possible care for our youngest citizens.
Through our efforts, we aim to strengthen the ECE community by providing all of the resources required for a strong and successful business. We know that a well-run childcare business not only improves direct services children receive but also equips early care and education environments to sustain high quality. By transforming ECE systems and structures, we can improve child outcomes and create a brighter future for our community.
Like our successful counterparts in 33 other states, we are committed to improving child outcomes by empowering early childhood education providers. We are proud to be a part of this important work, and we are grateful for the support of our community partners. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families
