The Resource Platform also connects childcare and after-school providers to discounts and savings with over 25 national vendors such as Discount School Supply, Kaplan, Staples, ADP, Ace Hardware and many more. We also connects providers to local, statewide vendors, including, PPE supplies, property insurance, playground equipment and surfaces, disinfectant services, and office supplies.
PSSA recognizes that most childcare programs cannot afford to offer their staff healthcare benefits and many staff members remain uninsured. The Resource Platform offers members access to a licensed, trustworthy insurance broker to answer all of your questions. We also provide access to Tele-Health, Tele-Mental health, Dental, Life, and Vision benefits at fantastic prices.
We provide our members access to a dedicated Early Childhood Job Board in partnership with Acquire4Hire, located on the home-page of the Resource Platform. With one-click, providers can post a job to the job board and PSSA will push the job out to 8 different job sites, including Indeed and Zip Recruiter. The Resource Platform even contains pre-written job ads and job descriptions to make this process even easier. Once you have hired the perfect candidate, our resource Platform has an orientation guide, links to all of the forms you need to get that employee set up and training to get them acclimated!
Palmetto Shared Services Alliance is committed to providing quality online and webinar based professional development for all providers in the state of South Carolina at an affordable rate. We understand the difficulty in scheduling time to get your professional development hours completed; therefore, we are excited to offer an Online University where providers can get required and SC Endeavors approved hours on their own schedule. Our Professional Development Coordinator, Susan Kear, is a master-certified trainer with Endeavors, can help you create the perfect training plan for your staff!
